JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - Planning commissioners in Jackson and Teton County say wildfire protection should be the primary consideration in all land-use decisions.
The commissioners voted last week to make wildfire protection a priority, but also said private property rights would be respected in the region.
The measure was a recommendation from the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance.
