BUTTE, Mont. (AP) - A 48-year-old Butte woman has pleaded not guilty to charges she embezzled $48,000 from Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Marlene Bender entered her plea Wednesday before District Judge Brad Newman. Bender is charged with taking the money from the Butte restaurant while working as a manager last summer.
