Associated Press - November 27, 2009 7:05 PM ET

CODY, Wyo. (AP) - Eleutian Technology and Cody officials have formally unveiled plans to relocate the tech company to a new, $3.73-million facility in Cody.

With $3 million of state aid and the support of the economic development group Forward Cody, Eleutian hopes to build and occupy a new 10,000-square-foot headquarter building.

The city of Cody will request $3 million in the form of a grant from the Wyoming Business Council to help make the move.

On Tuesday, Cody officials celebrated the planned relocation of the formerly Ten Sleep-based company. It will employ about 40 people in Cody, but the company will keep a few employees in Ten Sleep.

Eleutian provides English instruction to Asian students via Internet video conferencing.
