Saturday was the 35th Annual Republican VII barbecue and the special guest speaker was Glenn Beck.

Known mostly for his radio talk show and his fast growing television show, Glenn made an appearance Saturday to speak to his fans in Idaho Falls.

One of the topics he touched on during his conference was his recent trip to the White House. He says he was honored to meet the president, and also that he was surprised by how much he learned about him during his visit.

Glenn Beck:  "He's not the guy you see on TV.  He is the guy on the truck with the bull horn, and for years I have been wondering were is that guy. He is alive and well."

"We are fighting the war differently than what we are seeing."
