As Missing Persons Day Approaches, Search for Mother Continues

Updated:

Today marks three weeks since 21-year-old mother of three Stephanie Eldredge disappeared, and police have no new leads in the case.

Stephanie's family says they would like to conduct their own searches around Bonneville County, but detectives have advised them not to without police assistance, since much of the land is privately owned. Her family says they are frustrated and feel more helpless with each passing day. They believe someone may know something about Stephanie's whereabouts, but is not coming forward.

If you have any information, you are asked to call CrimeStoppers at 522-1983.

This Friday is the 2nd Annual Idaho Missing Persons Day event at Freeman Park. There will be a vigil and speakers at 8 p.m. at the band shelter. There are more than 200 missing adults in Idaho, and this event is a way to draw attention to all the unsolved cases.

The event is organized by the family of Amber Hoopes. She went missing six years ago this week from Bonneville County.
