Idaho State University celebrates Halloween a night ahead of schedule... the physics style way.
A haunted laboratory exhibit was free and open to the public.
Since the one third of the student population has children living with them at home, organizers felt it was necessary to throw a Halloween bash.
The eerie lab featured interactive displays designed to delight, fright and educate kids of all ages, including "The Disembodied Head," and the "Pepper's Ghost".
Lasers moved to music and many other eye-catching illusions were created with smoke and mirrors.
Bobby Jones, 16-years-old: "We got a invitation from my sister who works at the children care cener."
Steven JOnes, 11-years-old: "I've played games, I've gone jumping on the toys and slides. I went through the maze."
Isaac and Micah Spencer, 5 and 3-years-old: "Last time at Halloween I was Yoda... this time I'm Big 10"
Kaiden Arreduin, 7-years-old: "Thanks for setting it up."
Around 7 p.m., five-hundred people had already walked through the door. Wednesday night, ISU presents "Fright Night" at Reed Gym for students who don't have children.
