Priscilla Giddings, 24, is leaving for Arizona on Monday to train as a fighter pilot for the Air Force, before serving in the Middle East next year.
She will be the only woman in her 140-person squadron.
Priscilla says her passion for bodybuilding has given her the endurance to pass the mentally- and physically-demanding tests.
In fact, she still holds eight world weightlifting records.
Before she embarks on her journey, she and her friend Linda Higgins have this message for young women. Priscilla Giddings: "We definitely want to motivate young women to have confidence and get involved in an activity you enjoy and set a goal and go after it with all your heart because you can do anything you set your mind to!"
Newschannel 6 wishes Priscilla the best of luck.
