Anyone who's spent anytime at the grocery store lately knows food is getting more and more expensive - and if you want to eat healthy, it'll cost you even more.
As the rising costs of fuel and wheat continue to push prices at the supermarket higher and higher, a local co-op is trying to keep prices reasonable.
The Pocatello Co-op at the Kinport Junction is a place where you can get organically-grown food at a relatively low cost.
The co-op features many locally grown foods and other products made in East Idaho, which they say reduces cost of freight - in turn, keeping their costs down.
The co-op also features a variety of other foods, including gluten-free foods and even yogurt made from goat milk.
Co-op members also say unlike most grocery stores, the co-op is a not-for-profit entity, which helps keep costs down even more.
Karen Martin, co-op member: "Every dollar that is spent here goes back the co-op. It helps cover food and operating costs. Every dollar spent at the co-op goes right back into it."
