This is about as good as it gets, you can help raise money for a good cause and all you have to do is go out to eat.
Once again, Dixie's Diner on Channing Way in Idaho Falls is helping out the "Bring Back the Bears" campaign at the Tautphaus Park Zoo.
This Saturday, for every meal purchased from breakfast, lunch and diner, 10% of the profit will be donated to the zoo.
Dixie's Diner is a 50's style restaurant and it's known for its burgers and shakes but also its yummy country fried steaks and pasta. Managers say it's just their way to support the community.
So stop by Dixie's Diner this Saturday March 14th to have a bite and help the new Asian Sloth Bear exhibit. The diner opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m.
And mark your calendar, the Tautphaus Park Zoo opens on Saturday April 11th.
