Todd Blackinton

In July of 2002 Todd Blackinton and his wife, Traci, climbed into a moving van by themselves to head to Peoria, Illinois for a new job opportunity. Exactly three years later Todd and Traci returned to eastern Idaho now with two little boys in tow. Fast forward about five years and now Todd and Traci have four children. A little boy named Jonah and their first girl, Claire, were born in Pocatello.
The first time Todd worked for NBC Newschannel 6 he anchored news and weather on the weekends. He eventually moved to mornings. He then spent three years anchoring morning news at HOI 19 News in Peoria. Todd has now returned to anchor the NBC Newschannel 6 newscasts at 5pm 6pm and 10pm and assume the role of News Director.
Todd is the youngest of three boys. The oldest brother lives in San Diego with his family and the other brother lives in Alabama with his family. Between the Blackintons and Clydes, Todd is the uncle to 26 nieces and nephews.
Todd and Traci are happy to be home in eastern Idaho and are putting down deep roots in a community that has been so good to them.
