An Idaho Falls man who threatened his neighbors with a gun over fireworks was arrested on charges of aggravated assault.

Officers arrested Dennis D. Lords, 52, Friday night and booked him into the Bonneville county Jail.

Police were called to the 800 block of Singletree in reference to a weapons violation around 11:58 p.m.

The reporting party told police they had been setting off fireworks in front of their residence. Lords was upset about the fireworks and threatened them with a shotgun.
