A new Miss Pocatello/Miss Gate City was crowned Saturday night.
Sierra Sandison won the title at the event which was held at the new Mystique Performing Arts and Events Center. Sandison is a double major college student whose platform is diabetes awareness and prevention. For the talent portion of the competition, Sandison played the piano and sang "Love Song" by Sara Bareilles. She also won the swimsuit and talent categories.
Amy Mireles was the first runner up. Her platform is the CASA Program. Mireles performed a contemporary dance.
