A local man is being charged with grand theft after police say he embezzled nearly $40,000 from two Idaho Falls businesses.
Police served the warrant to 36-year-old Jared D. Sloan in Bonneville County Court Wednesday following an investigation into Sloan’s alleged embezzlement of $38,254 from Foothills Dental and Riverwest Dental from January 2011 to July of last year.
Police were notified of the alleged money taking in October.
