Argument Between Two Women Leads to Stabbing

An Idaho Falls woman is facing charges after she stabbed another woman with a steak knife Friday afternoon.

Police arrested Talis L. Tunteri, 29, for aggravated battery and booked her into the Bonneville County Jail.

Officers were called to the 200 block of Gladstone around 2:30 p.m. for a report of a stabbing. The victim told police she and Tunteri got into an argument when the suspect grabbed a steak knife and stabbed her.

The stab wounds were minor punctures. The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene.
