Artitorium Coming to Idaho Falls
Instead of having to take long trips to Salt Lake City or Boise for some fun educational experiences, the Idaho Falls community is proud to announce a new project that will be coming to our area.
The Idaho Falls Arts Council is building the Artitorium on Broadway which will be a family friendly place to visit, but before that can happen they’re asking the public for help.
The Artitorium on Broadway is going to be a technology based interactive adventure in art.
“So we will have green screens for kids to play on, we will have giant screens that are iPads on steroids, there will also be all sorts of climation stations where kids can make their own movies, there will be recording studios where they can record different parts of music” said Artitorium Project Manager Brandi Newton.
The Idaho Falls Arts Council hopes to make this an affordable opportunity for everybody.
“The exciting part we hope for our community is that these are activities you normally had to travel to a different city or they were an item you would do when you were visiting another city on vacation and we will have it right here on Broadway for you to do every day of the year” continued Newton.
Before this project can come to life; the community is being asked to match an anonymous donation of $241,000….by September 30th.“If we are able to do that by September 30th then we’ll have the funds available to complete the project so we can open next spring” said Newton. If you’d like to give a donation to the Artitorium; click here.
