A Blackfoot man is facing criminal charges after police say he pointed a gun at two people Sunday night.

Officers arrested Juan Gonzalez-Gonzalez, 31, for aggravated assault and booked him into the Bonneville County Jail.

Police were called to the 400 block of South Boulevard around 5 p.m. The victims told detectives that Gonzalez-Gonzalez came to the home and started yelling and demanding to speak to his estranged wife. He then pulled out a gun and waved it at them.

Gonzalez-Gonzalez took off before police arrived. He was stopped on Interstate 15 by Idaho State Police. Idaho Falls Police also responded to the traffic stop and arrested the suspect.
