It's not a call that Pocatello police respond to every day. In fact, it may have been the first of its kind in our area.

Wednesday evening, a man was pulled over while riding his bull over the Benton St. Overpass.

The officer on scene said the bull had a very friendly demeanor and even had a saddle, but the rider commented on our Facebook page and said he was riding bareback at the time.

The rider says he was just out for a joy ride.

The bull and rider did not break any laws that the police were aware of, so they were both let go without a ticket.

Yes the riding the bull through town thing is cute but... If he was not breaking a law, why was he pulled over?

We used to put a saddle on our family dairy cow at the fair, a Jersey, for kids to ride her. This kid is seriously funny. I'm sad I missed it! I live right here!! I am pleased the police weren't obligated to site him. I love Idaho man. Super funny.
