It takes dedication to embark on a 100 show tour with your band. It’s something the guys Acronycal know very well. The Edmonton Alberta band has developed quite the following by providing live music free of charge.
It’s one of the most competitive professions out there. Making a name for yourself in the music industry is a dream that so many people share and it’s fueling several reality shows. A band from Alberta is finding their niche by giving their music away with free concerts.
The independent rock trio from Edmonton, Canada is touring North America to support their third studio album called ghosts. The 100 plus show tour will stretch across the continent and span a 6 month time frame.
This is the third tour of this length for Acronycal. In 2009 they toured Canada, and in 2011 the band based themselves in Southern California to cover the majority of the Continent.
The band will log thousands of miles on this trip and it won’t be in a tour bus. It’s just them, a pickup truck and a small trailer for their equipment.
