A local teen escaped serious injury when the car he was driving veered off the road and into a home.
According to the Pocatello Police Department, around 7:45 Monday morning the 16-year-old driver was heading eastbound on FairwayDrive when he became distracted and drove into this garage.
The teen was taken to Portneuf Medical Center as a precaution.
Police say he was looking for his cell phone at the time of the crash.
