Your old cell phone could make a huge difference in the life of a domestic violence victim.

This local business is reaching beyond their doors to benefit those who stand in need in the pocatello and chubbuck communites
This idaho-based company has found a way to give back to the community via cell phones.
Syringa wireless, a cell phone service provider, has instituted a recycling program that allows individuals to donate cell phones, functional or not, to help individuals in our area.
The family services alliance of southeast idaho is among the organization who will benefit from the program. They will give the phones to aid domestic violence victims.
Scott Dike, General Manager of Syringa Wireless said, "It gives them a 911 or a safety phone in the event of something happening."
Dike went on to reassure potential donors that their old phone will benfit the needy.
"If they have a way to give back to the community, they could put it in the recycling program they know that it's gonna go to good use," added Dike.
You can donate your used cell phone at all of the local syringa wireless locations.
