Chubbuck Police say they are following up on several leads as they continue to investigate who is responsible for calling in a bomb threat at Walmart.

Detectives say the information has been very helpful and they are working with the Bannock County Prosecutor's Office on potential charges which could be announced in the coming days.

The threat forced law enforcement to evacuate Walmart Sunday evening.  Some employees were posted at the entrances to the store and simply told customers, "we're closed." Police and Firefighters searched the store for two hours and ultimately found nothing.  KPVI News Six spoke to one man, Brian Orr, who was in the store during the evacuation. He said that he had items in his hands and just had to leave them on a shelf and head for an exit.

"It was announced over the intercom, all employees and customers must leave the store. they announced it two or three times. Most of us customers just stopped and looked at each other like whats going on. I commented to another customer, wow kinda shocking, I never thought this would happen in a town you live in. You're just kinda taken back. First thing that popped into my head was the Boston thing. i was just like wow, Idaho, who knew?"
