The city of Ammon issued a snow declaration Thursday which governs snow removal and parking on city streets.
Mayor Dana Kirkham says the proclamation takes effect at 9 a.m., Friday, Febuary 7, and lasts until 9 p.m., Friday, February 14.
According to the declaration, no one can park on the city streets from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Any car left on the streets can be removed at the direction of the Public Works Director with the driver being responsible for the cost to tow it.
Homeowners should not shovel any snow onto city property or they could face a $100 fine.
