Construction Vehicle Crashes into Power Pole in Chubbuck

The 1,300 Idaho Power customers who had their electricity knocked out from a car accident Monday are back in the light.

Police and Emergency Medical Services responded to an accident in the 4400 block of Yellowstone in Chubbuck where a construction vehicle crashed into a power pole. The crash forced authorities to divert traffic in the area.

No injuries were reported but around 1,300 Idaho Power Customers lost power. The outage affected Pocatello and Chubbuck customers living between Siphon and Quinn Roads from Hawthorne east to the railroad tracks.
