Matt & Libby chat with Logan, Lisa and Addy McDougall as they share their family recipe for Cake Batter Cookie Stackers.

Here's the recipe:

Cake Batter Cookie Stackers

1 pouch (1 lb. 1.5 oz) sugar cookie mix
½ cup yellow cake mix (dry mix from box)
½ cup butter, softened
1 egg
½ cup yellow cake mix (dry mix from box)
Food coloring
Funfetti Frosting

1.       Preheat oven to 375°
2.       In a medium bowl, Stir sugar cookie mix, ½ cup dry cake mix, ½ cup butter and egg till dough forms.
3.       In small bowl, place ½ cup dry cake mix. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in dry cake mix and coat completely. Place two-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
4.       Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until cookies are set, (watch closely to prevent over-baking).
5.       While baking cookies,  mix food coloring and frosting to desired color.
6.       When cookies are done, remove from cookie sheet and place on rack to cool for approximately 15 minutes.
7.       To build stackers, place roughly one teaspoon of frosting on a cookie, top with another cookie, then roll sides of sandwich in sprinkles.
