All eyes are set on Nevada as it will be the next state in the voting line-up and the first state in the west to cast ballots.
The presidential hopefuls aren't the only ones making their way to the Silver state, many Idahoans are as well.
Mitt Romney’s win in Florida could be a huge turning point for the GOP race, but many republicans say the race is far from over.
Now, all eyes are turning to Nevada, where front-runner Mitt Romney hopes to cinch the deal a little more.
"I think this is a very critical election in the United States. I think freedom is on the line, our independence is on the line, our economic well-being is on the line. My overall goal is to make sure we replace Obama, and my focus is on having Romney replace Obama” said Governor Butch Otter.
"I sure as heck think Mitt Romney is the right guy for this country” said CEO of Melaleuca Frank VanderSloot.
Nevada is no stranger to Romney, in 2008 he took over 50% of the state’s votes.
According to the Washington Post, Romney’s strengths in Nevada will be his superior campaign organization and a large Mormon population.
"We're going to go out and see if we can help out a little bit. Mitt Romney's just had some terrific wins in Florida and now he's headed to Nevada and we're going to go to Elko and Reno and Vegas and show up there and see if we can stir up a little bit of action” continued VanderSloot.
Although Romney has a lot of Idahoans in Nevada, doesn't mean there won't be a lot of Romney in the Gem state in the near future.
"I'm not at liberty to tell you the date and time, but we know that Gov. Romney is coming to Idaho to let those caucuses know that he cares about those delegates and how important it is that he gets a chance to be in front of them and talk to them
about his candidacy” continued Governor Otter.
For the first time, the Idaho republican party will be holding a presidential caucus. The day set aside for the caucus will be March 6th.
"I'm going to show up at my caucus night in Ada county and I'm going to cast my vote and I hope you all do the same, and I hope if you haven't already made up your mind you take a good hard look at my candidate, and that's Mitt Romney” said Governor Otter.
"We live in an awesome country, over a million men and women have died so we could have the right to vote, to choose our own leaders, I think the lest we can do, in memory of them and all those who have sacrificed so much so that we can do this, we ought to get out on election days and we ought to vote” said VanderSloot.
We also learned today that Frank VanderSloot donated $1 Million to the Political Action Committee supporting Romney.
