Father's Day Car Show

The Veteran Motor Car Club of America division in Idaho Falls hosted their 35th annual Father's Day Car show and Swap meet at Tautphaus Park Sunday.

"Happy Father's Day, I love you dad," said Eric, a little boy enjoying the car show.

Officials said this event offered something fun to do for the entire family.

"It's a great family event. Families get involved and kids love it," said Larry Christian, the President for Veterans Motor Car Club of America.
There were over 300 cars displayed on the park's grounds, the vehicles ranged from classics through muscle cars and even some sporty favorites.

"Grandpa's 69 Camaro is our favorite," said a little girl at the event. 

The event also featured 86 vendors that highlighted jewelry and hand crafted coffee tables among many other items. President of the Veteran Motor Club said this show is really about bringing families and the community together.

"I love you dad, and thank you dad," added two little girls at the event.

"When you see us again next year, come on down. Even if don't care too much about cars there is always something going on down here for you," added Christian.

One family had to wish dad a, "Happy Father's Day!"
