Are you looking for a place to spend the $3.5 million you’ve been keeping in your storage shed? If so, you could end up with one of the largest buildings in eastern Idaho.
The former Portneuf Medical Center west campus will be auctioned off in two weeks to the highest bidder at or above the $3.5 million mark. The auction company says this is well below the replacement cost.
The property consists of a six-story, nearly 183,000 square foot hospital tower. A five-story 103,260 square foot multi-tenant medical office building and a seven story attached parking garage.
The former hospital, medical office building and parking structure are all connected with a sky a bridge.
The buildings for the most part are in good shape. The auction company says the property could be a candidate for re-use opportunities which may include student housing, specialty higher education, a hospice home, senior/assisted living and more.
The medical office building is still being used and they are currently 27.23% leased and occupied.
The auction firm is hosting two building inspections for potential bidders. The first will take place tomorrow at 10:00 AM. The winning bidder will be required to make an initial down payment of $150,000.
Most of the campus has sat vacant since PMC opened their new facility in 2011
The property will be offered “Minimum Bid” to the highest bidder at or above $3,500,000 in an online auction. The auction will occur on:
Wednesday, June 26th, 2013 from 1:00pm MT to 3:00pm MT
