A spokesperson for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes says it's business as usual at a gas station on the reservation after a natural gas leak prompted an evacuation of the building.

The leak was reported just before noon, at the TP Gas and C-Store which is located at exit 80 off Interstate 15.

Fort Hall firefighters quickly evacuated the building and surrounding area.

The Fort Hall Police Department also assisted with the evacuation and remained on scene to help maintain a safe perimeter.

Intermountain Gas shut off the natural gas line while they identified the cause of the leak and fixed it.

The evacuation ended just after 1 p.m., Tuesday.
