Physical fitness seems to have its own built-in rewards: improved vitality, longer life, improved energy levels, however this past Tuesday evening that meant free t-shirts. T-shirts courtesy of the Portneuf healthcare foundation. Near Idaho state university, I was with the CEO of the Portneuf Healthcare Foundation. The goal was simple, to get these t-shirts to people who are being active and health in our community.
Portneuf Healthcare CEO Shaun Menchaca noted that, “One of the things that were really excited about is doing what we call the t-shirt bomb. It’s though our wellness program. It’s a way for us to throw t-shirts out and encourage people for their healthy activities. Today we wanted to show and demonstrate what we do relative to that and so we’re gonna try to hit a few of the folks in the hands and make sure they can catch a t-shirt.”
While some people were reluctant to accept a free and trendy t-shirt, many were more than exited for this free boost to their wardrobe. These t-shirt giveaways will happen more often as the sweet part of spring and summer gets going. The more active you are, the more chances you will have to get a shirt.
