Ft. Hall Police Search for Stabbing Suspect

Fort Hall Police are tracking a man who is suspected of stabbing a woman early Sunday morning.

According to a news release on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 6:00 am tribal member Glenda Dixey was stabbed in the left thigh at the Pine Ridge Apartments in Chubbuck. The stabbing victim then drove herself to a family members home in Fort Hall. Chubbuck Police are now taking over the investigation. Dixey is being treated at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello. 

Police located Jacob Schmidt who led officers on a pursuit and abandoned his vehicle in the  Ross Fork District area of Fort Hall. Officers are on foot tracking suspect at  this time, will report more when it becomes available.
