To raise awareness for the need of affordable housing in southeast Idaho and also to announce their expansion into the communities of Ashton and St. Anthony (in 2013), Habitat for Humanity Idaho Falls Area is holding their first ever “Hostages for Habitat” event.

Local Mayors, city council members, Habitat board members and friends will be held “hostage” on the roof of the Habitat ReStore located at 238 Northgate Mile on Monday. This event will go on until 6 p.m.

To help get the “hostages” out, community members and friends are encouraged to stop by and donate some money for the “hostages” release.
