High winds and blowing dust have forced the Idaho Transportation Department to close Interstate 15. The closure is in the usual spot. It starts at Idaho Falls and extends north to Roberts. That's from milepost 119 to 135.

Don't expect the wind to go away until evening. The National Weather Service in Pocatello has a Wind Advisory in place until 8 PM. Winds are steady at 30-40 mph. Gusts are possible above 50 mph. These high winds will make driving difficult.

The wind won't be as big a factor Wednesday. It will be a little cooler. Doug Iverson will have the forecast on KPVI News 6 at 5 PM and 6PM.

If you get pictures of what the wind is doing around your neighborhood, post them to the KPVI Facebook page. Or you can email them to newsroom@kpvi.com.
