Highway 91 Partially Blocked because of Crash

Idaho State Police is currently investigating a two-car injury crash at the intersection of U.S. Highway 91 and 65th South, the York Exchange.

The intersection is partially blocked.  

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible. Very few details about the crash have been released at this point.  Stay tuned on KPVI.COM for the very latest.

Update from ISP:

On Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at approximately 7:58 A.M., the Idaho State
Police investigated a two-vehicle crash near the York Exchange on US91 near
milepost 122.

Robert Scarmara, 47, of Idaho Falls, ID, was driving north
on US91 in a 2001 Freightliner and failed to stop at the intersection of US91
and 65th South.  Scarmara collided with a 1997 Chevrolet Pick-up traveling west
on 65th South, by Rhett Briggs, 65, of Shelley, ID.  Upon impact Scarmara's box
trailer lost its rear axle and the vehicle overturned onto the driver
side.

Northbound US91 was blocked for approximately 3 hours.
