This week catholic schools across the nation are celebrating Catholic School’s Week.
We went to Holy Rosary in Idaho Falls to see what activities they have planned for the week.
Some of those include a trip to Craters of the Moon as well as a bowling trip.
The school says this week they are especially focused on faith, academics and service which are the three pillars for catholic schools.
We asked some students what they liked most about Catholic School’s Week:
“That we get visitors and we get to go on field trips” said 5th grader Anna Martinez.
“Well I like celebrating it to tell that we’re proud of it being in a catholic school to do all this stuff, but I also like the fun activities we do during catholic schools week” said 5th grader Andrew Wehausen.
“Oh they love every single day of it, we just had our alumni lunch and it was a great success, wonderful turnout and it’s great for the kids to see all the people that have come to this school over the years, the generations of families in the Idaho Falls community that have come to Holy Rosary School” said Principal Carina Vanpelt.Holy Rosary says their doors are open for more students to enroll for next school year.
