It was a calm, yet rainy day at Jefferson elementary in Pocatello, then, Idaho central credit union showed up to make everyone’s day.
Bobby Brown, the Membership Relationship Manager at Idaho Central Credit Union explained how his team arrived at Jefferson. “We crammed in there, we came up here and we had the music going just the energy, you could feel the energy, the excitement, it was like Christmas, it was just great!”
ICCU donated 1200 dollars’ worth of various school supplies that one teacher feels will help those in need.
Fourth Grade Teacher Mick Morgan said that not all students show up with all that they need. “A lot of students come to school and they don’t have supplies, from a teacher point of view, it’s really sad and it really means a lot to have Idaho central help out with that and help with the effort to get those supplies so that they’re ready to go.”
The school principal felt that this gift came at just the right time.
Heidi Kessler, the Principal at Jefferson explained her experience. “It’s been a long couple of days getting the school year started and i think the teachers are really exhausted, they’ve given their all to get school going and to make the first few days of school really amazing for their students and to have their van pull up with all of that fun music, it was really invigorating to kick off the school year that way was a really fun way to end the day.”
