Thursday, students and educators spent the day preparing for the Gem State's economic future.
At the College of Technology on the Idaho State University campus, staff from the Idaho Department of Labor's Career Information Systems hosted their fall career development workshop on job search and career planning tools out there for students to land careers that will likely be in demand in the future.
Christian Busnardo, with the Department of Labor, worked with counselors and says the information passed on will help their clients make informed career decisions.
“Help students learn about careers, occupations of interest and programs of study, colleges and universities, look for scholarships that might be available, create career and academic plans,” Busnardo said. “For those working with adults, it's going to be job search skills, building resumes and all that.”
