What are your plans for the Memorial Day weekend? That’s a question many of us are probably thinking about but not everyone will have this luxury. The Idaho State Police will have the entire force working this weekend to help manage the increased traffic.
Last year, there were 129 crashes on Idaho roads during the Memorial Day weekend. 81 people were injured and two people were killed, those numbers are too high and that’s why law enforcement throughout the state will be out in force this weekend.
Lieutenant Gonzales is urging drivers to be patient this weekend and to make sure all children are in age-appropriate safety seats and children under the age of 12 need to ride in the back seat.
