It came down to the last day of the season but the ISU softball team clinched the Big Sky Conference season Saturday with a win in North Dakota.

Going in to this weekend the Bengals needed to win two of three at North Dakota to clinch the title. They won one and lost one Friday but won Saturday with a six-run sixth inning rally.

That's the second big sky title for the Bengals in a row. It also means the conference tournament starts at Miller Ranch Stadium in Pocatello on Thursday.

As the host the Bengals will play Northern Colorado on Thursday at 1PM. Sacramento State will play Southern Utah at 4PM. The tournament continues Friday and Saturday. The outcomes of the Thursday games will determine the matchups for the other days.
