If you’re an Idaho Falls resident and think that you’ll have trouble getting to the polls, you can rest your worries aside.

That’s because the community outreach center wants to help make sure everyone gets a chance to vote.

The Outreach Center is partnering with Safe-Ride Taxi to provide transportation to and from the polls on Election Day.

“Well it’s a nice public service and we’ve never ventured into this kind of thing before, but I think it’s very important that the people who come to our building for the services that we provide there, know that they are important and that they matter” said Cher Stone of the Community Outreach Center.

The Community Outreach Center provides space for several social service agencies, which allows them to dedicate their funds entirely to helping those in need.
