An Idaho Falls homeowner caught two would-be burglars in the act on Sunday.
Idaho Falls Police arrested William D. Emery, 38, and Sean J. Saari, 27, for burglary
Saari and Emery, both of Idaho Falls, were booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
Officers responded to the 1400 block of Mound for a report of a burglary in progress around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. The homeowner said that while he was shoveling snow next door, he observed a suspicious black GMC pick-up truck in his driveway.
Upon investigation, the victim found Saari and Emery inside his home taking various items, including DVDs, speakers, a sports bag, and meat. After being confronted by the owner, the two fled.
Officers located both suspects in the 1100 block of Blaine. Garbage bags with stolen items were found in their possession.
