The Idaho Falls Police Department is currently investigating an aggravated battery that happened early Thursday morning in the 1200 block of South Boulevard.
Police say the victim is a 17-year-old male from Fort Hall though his name has not been released.
Officers were alerted to the situation after the victim went to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. He was later released to a guardian.
Police have not made any arrests in the case.
