An Idaho Falls man has been told not to wear his bunny suit in public anymore after neighbors complained that he was frightening small children.

The Idaho Falls Police Department received calls on Monday of a man in a black bunny suit that was being a public nuisance and scaring children in a neighborhood.  Police responded to the 400 block of Third Street where they advised 34-year-old William Falkingham not to wear his bunny suit costume in public.

According to reports, a resident told authorities that her son had been frightened by Falkingham who was wearing a black bunny suit and hiding behind a tree.  The neighbor also told police that the 34-year-old male pointed his finger like a gun at her son.

Officers also spoke to other neighbors who expressed that they were greatly disturbed by Falkingham and his bunny suit.  Neighbors also reported that the 34-year-old occasionally wears a tutu with the costume.

Falkingham told authorities that he enjoys wearing the suit, but understands the neighbors’ concerns and complaints.

Bahaha you people are hilarious! Who gives a crap what a man does?! Hell someone with piercings is just as scary to some people, you don't see them on the news. I used to have the bridge of my nose pierced and I had parents pull there children out of my path and give me rude looks. The funny thing was I did it mainly as a social experiment to see how judgmental people are in the Pocatello / Idaho Falls area. We live the the USA! We are allowed to do whatever the hell we want. Some people enjoy cross dressing, some people enjoy dressing up gothic, some people like putting on there preppy church clothes and going to the Mormon church on sunday. I can tell you that I would be more scared of an adult walking out of a Mormon church because of how close minded they are. Maybe the man is doing an experiment to see how all of you react to his weirdness. I know if I were him I would be at home laughing my ass off reading your comments. You close minded people have put this man in the news because you have a problem excepting anything outside of your norm. Also just because he wears a bunny suit doesn't have anything to do with the likelihood of him becoming a sex offender?! You dumb people are half the reason I am not proud to say I am an Idahoan... I would love to see you peoples reactions to the stuff that goes on in San Francisco with all the gay men happily walking the streets dressed up in odd ways and expressing themselves.

This is no joke alyrose? I almost wonder if you are William himself? What makes me so angry is that he is portrayed as an "Amusement Park Bunny". Apparently, none of you "SO CALLED NEIGHBORS" have actually seen "Billy". If you had he would be more closely described as a Playboy Bunny! High heels, tutu, tights, headband ears, and a fuzzy bunny tail. He doesnt stand out in the front yard as described by MAMABEAR11, and wave at his neighbors in his outfits and hand out candy! He sneaks around in his back yard and enjoys the thought of being caught. Im sick of everyone sticking up for him, he is frightening! What about the rights of the rest of us? We have to deal with it on a constant basis! I shouldn't have to worry about looking out in the back yard to see if he is hiding in the bushes before I let my son play in the yard. I just wish that those of you that have not seen him could understand? He is not a friendly guy out in his yard playing around in a "bunny suit", he is a grow man playing a very distubing game of dress-up! The scary thing is that I am more concerned about ALYROSE & MAMABEAR11 because they maybe more delusional than he his.

Did it ever occur to you people that the town we live in is just weird as hell? It's like living on an episode of Northern Exposure or something. Enough about his rights being violated already.

This is not a joke. I AM HIS NEIGHBOR! No correction...this is a joke. This should never have been an issue that the media was involved in let alone the police and @cm I have a daughter thank you very much and when I moved into my home I made sure to check the registrant map for sex offenders and this nice man is not on it. I checked it before I ever saw William. If that was the concern of the parents they could have done the same simply to come to the realization he is not a threat. And what does drugs or how old he is have to do with it either. I think people in this area are just so afraid of something a little different they will condemn anyone for any reason as quickly as possible so they don't have to face it. Also I have spoken with the officer that talked with William twice as William is MY NEIGHBOR! I have no reason to make anything I say up.

Well I think this just a joke to every one!! And some of you need to get a life really come on if it was your kids I dont think you all would like it and I think it was only reported because we have a high volume of sex offerders that live near by 98 registrants within a 1 mile,186 registrants within a 3 mile radius, 227 registrants within a 5 mile radius hello is there something wrong being concerned?? And how old is he? Did you all know we have a drug problem in Idaho Falls!! Parent were just concerned!!! This is not about what he was wearing he can wear what he wants he can be just wearing his freak'in tutu and thats it!! And I dont think they told him what he cant or can wear so quit making crap up!

It's not right to tell this man to stop dressing how he wants!!! He has a right to dress HOWEVER HE wants too! It's his choice! He isn't hurting anyone and he is on his own property!! LEAVE HIM ALONE!! You rock BUNNY MAN! C:
