The Great Snake River Greenbelt Duck Race in Idaho Falls is coming back again this year.

The grand prize will be a Ford Super Duty truck from Broadway Ford.

This truck is worth about $44,000…however the life-sized duck will not be coming with it.

This is the 23rd year of the duck race and 20,000 ducks will be sold this year.

The date for the event is Saturday, August 10th.

“Everybody knows all about it and what a great privilege this is for the community to come together for the greenbelt, for the city of Idaho Falls, we’re just very very happy and pleased with this organization” said Idaho Falls Mayor Jared Fuhriman.

This annual event is a fundraiser for the Idaho Falls Rotary Club.
