Pasta Carbonara
1 (16 oz) package bowtie cooked pasta
10 bacon strips, diced
1 garlic cloves, minced
5 raw chicken breasts (cut into stripes)
1 cup chopped (fresh spinach)
12 sliced mushrooms
½ yellow onion diced
2 cups whipping cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, (cubed)
1/2 cup butter or margarine, cut into cubes
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
In a large skillet sautee diced bacon pieces, chicken pieces, minced garlic, and chopped onions. Saute together until bacon and chicken pieces are cooked and onions are soft and transulent. Add sliced mushrooms and chopped spinach. Continue to saute on medium heat until mushrooms are cooked and spinach has wilted. Set aside. In a separate saucepan melt down cream cheese cubes and butter cubes . Whisk until nice and smooth .Add whipping cream.Stir in the Parmesan cheese. Continue Stirring until a thick Alfredo sauce has formed. Pour sauce over cooked pasta top off with chicken/bacon mixure.
