Chicken Skewers with a Sweet Ginger Sauce
8 chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
12 medium sized skewers
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp lime juice
¼ tsp ground ginger
1 cup California French dressing
3 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
6 tablespoons honey
Heat up grill or large skillet. Brush grill/ skillet with butter. Place chicken pieces on skewers. Mix together Honey, ground ginger, limejuice and parsley. Brush Honey mixture over chicken skewers. Cook onmedium high until chicken pieces are cooked. Continue to brush honeymixture over chicken. While skewers are cooking, Mix togetherPolynesian sauce .Brush over cooked chicken enough time to warm up thesauce. Place remaining sauce in a bowl to dip chicken pieces in.Yields 12 medium sized skewers.
Sausage and Mozzarella Calzones
1 package yeast
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 tsp salt
3 cups flour
½ cup of water warm
Dissolve yeast in water. Set aside in a separate bowl add flour,salt, olive oil. Add yeast and water mixture. Stir together untildough is formed. Knead for 5 min and cover with warm towel andlet rise for 30 min.
1 recipe of Pizza dough
1-cup mozzarella cheese
½ cup melted butter
1-cup olives diced
½ cup mushrooms
1 cup Italian sausage cooked
1 package pepperoni
1 green bell Pepper
1-cup Parmesan cheese
2 cups Marinara sauce (to go on top)
Sauté bell peppers and mushrooms together ina frying pan. Roll out pizza dough and brush a little
melted butter. Place all toppings on one side of doughTop with cheese. Fold the empty side over and seal the edges. Bake @ 450 for 15 min. Place sauce on top.
