Good news for Pinterest fans. The company has announced the creation of three new Pinterest apps for Android tablets, smartphones, and iPads. This comes only a week after Pinterest got rid of its invite-only sign-up policy. In addition to developing three new apps, the social bookmarking service is also revamping its iPhone app. Pinterest co-founder Evan Sharp says the new app will have better stability and speed, and an updated design. A second co-founder, Ben Silbermann, says the company's goal is actually to get people offline, following up on actionable recipes and ideas found on Pinterest. The social network is trying to appeal to new followers with these moves. Its meteoric growth has leveled off in recent months.

Samsung takes another shot at Apple as it brings handwriting and multitasking to tablets. Samsung's Wi-Fi only version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 goes on sale nationwide Thursday. It's Samsung's first Android tablet equipped with a digital pen. And it can run two applications side-by-side on a screen divided in half, allowing users to take notes while watching a video or surfing the web. The price starts at $499 for the basic model with 16 gigabytes of storage. That's the same starting price as Apple's latest iPad.

Netflix is looking to broaden its presence in Europe, announcing Wednesday that it will offer streaming TV shows and movies in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland by the end of the year. The company had given hints of its plans previously, saying last month that it would expand into another market outside the U.S., but didn't give specifics. Aside from the U.S., Netflix also has subscribers in Canada, Latin America, Ireland and the United Kingdom. The Los Gatos, CA company says the streaming service will be offered at a low monthly price, but didn't provide figures. It also said that more details about the service -- including content and supported devices -- will be disclosed closer to the rollout.
