This President’s Day many families are hitting the slopes for their day off.
Kelly Canyon Ski Resort is one of many ski resorts who have decided to stay open during the holidays.
“I think it makes a big difference, we open all of our lifts, we’re ready for any type of crowd, holidays are made for families up here, we just have as many people come as we can get up here” said Assistant Mountain Manager Todd Martin.
The ski resort has received about 33 inches of snow in the last couple of weeks; making it ideal for families to come enjoy Monday night family night at a discounted price.
“Kelly Canyon is a great family atmosphere, we’re not superhigh class like some of the bigger lifts on various other parts of the state,it’s kind of a home town feel, you know, we just enjoy all the families comingup” continued Martin.
Kelly Canyon Ski Resort is open from 12:30 to 9:30 on week days and 9:30 to 9:30 on Friday and Saturday.
“It’s the best time of the year, it’s warm, the sun is shining, what better place to come than Kelly canyon and bring your family” said Martin.
Monday night family night is $20 for an adult and $15 for a child, which also includes a dinner.
