If you’ve ever had to build your own house you know how much time and effort and energy it takes. Well, a group of realtors in the Idaho Falls area are making a difference in the community by doing just that.
Employees from Keller Williams Realty have teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to dedicate a whole day to serve the community.
“This is amazing for us; Keller Williams has a big culture in our office of giving back and making sure we serve our community” Assistant Team Leader Jessica Cardon.
“I get excited about it, I couldn’t wait this morning I was up early, got out of bed and when you get here and see all these people that are willing to put in their time to help someone else, it’s very exciting, it’s super cool” said Culture Committee Chair Person, Evan Cook.
“I think it’s a great fit to come out and work with us and you can just see the enthusiasm of the folks over there” said former Board President for Habitat for Humanity Brian Daniels.
This is Keller Williams third “Red Day” in the Idaho Falls area. Even an emotional Mayor Jared Fuhriman stopped by to declare it “Idaho Falls official Red Day."
“Keller Williams Realty East Idaho is the largest real estate office with over 100 agents and so for us to be able to say hey you guys we’re here to be a part of the community and help, and for the mayor to come in and be able to do that, we just think it’s really neat because we would love everyone to get involved in this” continued Cardon.
Almost 80 volunteers showed up to help with the project.
Red Day stands for renew, energize and donate.
Some of the Red Day sponsors include Chick-Fil-A, Sam’s Club, Starbucks, Albertson’s and Squires Coca-Cola.
