The Madison County Sheriff's Office has identified the inmate who was found dead on Sunday.
Deputies say the jail staff responded to assist inmate Jared Bradley Jensen who was found unresponsive.
Emergency first aid was administrated by staff and continued by Madison County ambulance personnel, but all efforts were unsuccessful in reviving Jensen.
Jensen was declared dead at approximately 2:56 p.m. Investigators say Jensen had returned to his cell about 45 minutes before he was found hanging from a
sheet attached to his bunk. The preliminary investigation has determined this incident to be suicide. A Tri-County Investigation was requested, and the investigation is ongoing.
