These people make up Madison Economic Partners Incorporated which includes businesses, government officials and community members.
Each month they get together to help out local businesses.
"Scott Johnson has done a great job at finding businesses, bringing us together to connect ties to help Rexburg grow” said Russel Smith from Premier Powder Coating.
"It's great because it helps us get our name out and how we're trying to grow Rexburg's economy” said Michael Johnson of Fuzion Agency.
In the meeting different issues are addressed to help leaders know what things they need to work on.
"Through Scott Johnson we became aware we are deficient in natural gases for businesses that depend on that to grow” said President of Madison Economic Partners Inc. Dan Hanna.
Another goal of the meeting is networking local businesses to work together so more jobs can be created.
"Just after the meeting we met with Premier Powder Coating to help them with some of their projects they have coming up” continued Johnson.
"We’re looking for opportunities and ways to develop the infrastructure so business growth can happen” continued Hanna.
In today's meeting, one business was looking to get started and another business was looking to expand.
